- This study will deal with a personal relationship with God. Involved in this study will be the use of D.P.A.C. The topic includes:
- What it means to have a relationship
- Devotions
- Memorizing Scripture
- Prayer/fasting
- This study will deal with a personal relationship with God. Involved in this study will be the use of D.P.A.C. The topic includes:
- Study Through the Bible
- This study will deal with the Old Testament and will provide the teen with a general overview of the Bible. The lesson is from Positive Action Bible Curriculum (Route 66). There are 43 lessons for the OT study
- Relationships
- This study will deal with three primary relationships.
- Parents
- Other adults
- Peers
- This study will deal with three primary relationships.
- Study through the Bible
- This is the continuation of the through the Bible study and will include the New Testament. The curriculum is the Route 66 from Positive Action and will cover the final 27 lessons from the previous study.
- Having Character
- This study will deal with character issues for Jr. High teens. The curriculum is from RBP entitled “Character Studies.”
Sr. High
- Walking with God
- This study will deal with a personal relationship with God. Involved in this study will be the use of D.P.A.C. The topics include:

- Study in the Gospel of John
- This study will deal more in depth with a relationship with God. It will provide a foundation for the following study (evangelism). This study will be accompanied by the video on John by Visual Bible.
- Evangelism
- This study will include the training provided by FAITH and will be the same study as provided in the church FAITH training program.
- Names of God
- This study will deal with many of the names of God and how they apply to our lives.
- Christology
- This study is centered on who Christ was and is. The curriculum is from Positive Action and is entitled “The God-man, Christ in the Gospels.” The study lasts 35 weeks.
- Leadership
- This will be a study on leadership and how that can be applied in the teen’s life now as well as in the future. It will provide the teens with the principles they need to become a spiritual leaders in many different arenas.
- Anthropology
- This study is for the teens to understand who man is according to God’s prospective as seen in the Scriptures.
- Study of the book of Acts.
- This study will help pave the way into the following study (Baptist Distinctives) and provide the teens an understanding of the church and how it is God’s instrument in this day.
- Ecclesiology
- This will be a study of the Church and what it is about. Much of the information gleaned in the study of acts will be useful to this study as well. It will also lead into the next study of Baptist Distinctives.
- Baptist Distinctives (doctrine)
- This study is to aid the teens in understanding why we are a Baptist church.
- Study of Worship
- This study will help teens understand how to worship God correctly and what he expects from us in worship. Topics include:
- Music
- Dress
- Church attendance
- Actions in church
- This study will help teens understand how to worship God correctly and what he expects from us in worship. Topics include:
- Study of Hermeneutics
- This study will help the teens understand the way to read and study the Bible.
- Dispensationalism
- This study will deal with the reason why God is now using the church and what will happen to Israel. It is a general overview of the biblical perspective of the number of Dispensations. This will help the teens to correctly apply different sections of Scripture.
- A look at Sin/Soteriology/Sanctification
- This study will help the teens to understand salvation in more depth. It will deal with some of the more difficult topics in Salvation and will be coupled with sanctification and Sin.
- Comparative religions
- This study will help teens to know how to deal with different religions and how they can think straight about Christianity. The curriculum is by BJU Press entitled “Who is this Jesus.”
- Bibliology
- This will be a study of the reliability of the copy of the Scriptures we hold in our hands.
- Character Building
- This will deal with several topics to provide the teens with principles they can apply as they move on in life. The topics will be addressed from the book of proverbs and will include many topics such as purity, financial planning, laziness and many more.
- Eschatology
- This will be a study of the end times and will be helpful for teens to see the importance of what will happen and how that should impact the way we live now.
Note: many of the topics do not include a curriculum at this time and will still need to be completed. After finding the curriculum, it will be easier to determine the length of each study and if there will be a need to cut down the size of them. There also might be a need to combine some of the studies if the length becomes a problem.
